Fierce Females, Historical Fiction

Fierce female characters reach through history and around the world to offer inspiration. Thirty-one titles to celebrate thirty-one days of Women's History. While their stories may be fictional, these characters are rooted in real issues such as racism, sexism, and the battles for equality. Finding one’s voice in a troubled world, surviving wars, overcoming dislocation, and protecting family during dire times, are among the themes explored throughout these book selections.
