Lawrence Picks: Mystery Book Club Debut Mysteries Considerations
Mystery Book Club met Sunday, May 16, 2021 to discuss selected debut Mysteries. Debut mysteries are widely varied in theme, mood, and writing style. And while each book is that author’s first mystery, several choices are award-winners or Mystery Book Club recommendations! •• A mystery is a story about a crime and the investigation and discovery of who did it. * Some mysteries are gentle cozy reads and others are darker or noir with gritty details. The sleuth may be an amateur or an expert. Books are sorted alphabetically by author. FORMAT is regular print book unless noted otherwise.
